Some of us are recreational joggers who like to keep fit while others have caught the racing bug and compete locally and further afield. The club is affiliated to UK Athletics and Dorset Road League.
The club meets twice weekly for club sessions throughout the year. We usually have have two or three distances available at each club night - ranging from 4 to 13 miles. We also have monthly track sessions suitable for all standards and a variety of sessions covering hill training, interval sessions and pacing. Please see our training grid for details on what’s coming up.
We have two simple systems to ensure safety – a name board to show who is out on which route and the routes are all supplied typed on paper to (try to) ensure ladies don’t get lost. No lady is ever left to run on her own.
We have a number of social events throughout the year which is a great way of getting to know others within the club!
The club is open to all ladies, regardless of age or the pace at which you run.
Please come along to one of our club nights to run with us and find out more about the club. There is no need to book. Just turn up ready to run and Pat or Carole will give you some more information about the club and team you up with other ladies of a similar pace.
