Enter the Boscombe 10K & Children's Fun Run

Kings Park Athletics Stadium

The annual Boscombe 10K race organised by Bournemouth Joggers ladies' running club, is a chip-timed undulating open road race. The route is fully marshalled. We welcome runners of all abilities, from top local athletes to runners competing in their first 10K race.

Entries close on the 19th November. Transfers can be made by 24th November ( Contact ) - No Entries on the Day

This race is part of the Dorset County Championships, which you can participate in by ticking the check box during registration. Athletes must confirm that they meet one of the requirements when entering the event. You qualify to compete in the County Championships if you meet one of the following:
(a) You were born in the County.
(b) By nine month’s continuous bona fide residence in the County immediately prior
to the competition.
(c) By service in a Unit of HM Forces stationed in the County for nine months
immediately prior to the date of the competition. Temporary absence on duty shall
not break a qualification acquired under this paragraph.
If you have represented another County in this Competition Year, you are ineligible to take part in the County Championships.

Refreshments and toilet facilities in the stadium.


Entrants must be 15 years or over on race day.


Please note, the course is unsuitable for wheelchairs. Dogs or pushchairs are NOT allowed.

For this year's event, numbers can be collected on the day. Final race instructions, including confirmation of any bag drop and changing facilities will be sent out roughly 7 to 10 days before the race.

There will also be a children’s 1.5K Fun Run, which will take place before the main event at 9.30am. The Fun Run starts and finishes in the stadium; there are prizes for the first boy and girl under 10 and under 15, all finishers receive a race medal. Entry is online only and costs £5.00. Race number collection on the day for the Fun Run only.
